Contexte du projet
The Hassan II bridge is a strategic structure connecting two rapidly expanding districts of Marrakech. The site features heterogeneous alluvial soils with a variable water table and significant seismic constraints (zone 3).
Défis géotechniques
- Compressible alluvial soils over 15m deep
- Water table at ground level during flood periods
- Strict seismic requirements (0.18g acceleration)
- Operational constraints and tight deadlines
Solutions mises en œuvre
- 1Foundations on Ø1200mm drilled piles anchored in marly bedrock at -22m
- 23D numerical modeling (Plaxis) to optimize soil-structure interaction
- 3Monitoring system with inclinometers, piezometers and load cells
- 4Enhanced geotechnical monitoring throughout construction phase (G4 mission)
Livrables & documentation
- G1 Report: Geological synthesis and preliminary recommendations
- G2 PRO Report: Pile design and Eurocode 7 calculations
- G3 Report: Execution plans and technical implementation specifications
- G4 Report: Monthly monitoring with instrumentation measurements and compliance validation
